Hi, that's a picture of me next to a portrait of me painted by Greg Smith.
As of October 1, 2009...
Don't really have any new music to report, but I was happy that some of my music has been used in some excellent installations and videos in the past year.
Last month, Jason Eppink chose Rambler to be the musical accompaniment to his Pixelator Lounge at the Conflux Festival.
Jason also used parts of "Rambler" for a clip documenting his installation Twenty-First Century Campfire. It's a great piece, and you can check out the video here.
Additionally, Jessica Ann Peavy used a few tracks from Rambler in her 3-channel installation Rituals of Consumption: Leviticus rode the boat ashore.
There's a short excerpt from it on her site--in person, the piece really towered over you, but even if the perspective is lost, you sort of get the idea...
I still have Ivory Kettle cds--still don't have any more Rambler cds. Thanks to everyone who took one, it means a lot. It's up on archive.org, so anyone can hear it...click here.
Here's information about what's done so far, with a few sound samples.
